About these terms
These Terms of Service (the "terms") are a contract between you and Kokoriko SAS ("Postocial", "we", "us" or "our"). They apply when you use the Postocial app at app.postocial.com, its API, its MCP server, our website at postocial.com or any related service (together, the "service").
If you use Postocial for a company or another organization, "you" means that organization, and you confirm that you're authorized to accept these terms for it.
These terms include our Refund and Cancellation Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy and, if you're a business customer, our Data Processing Addendum. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data.
Who we are
Postocial is provided by Kokoriko SAS, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS Paris) under number 933 691 297, with its registered address at 6 rue d'Armaille, 75017 Paris, France. VAT number: FR53933691297. You can reach us at hello@postocial.com.
Who can use Postocial
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- Postocial is made for business and professional use: brands, creators, agencies and teams who manage social media as part of their work.
- If you manage social profiles for clients, you need each client's permission to connect their profiles and publish for them.
- You can't use Postocial if laws or trade sanctions bar you from receiving the service, or if we closed an earlier account of yours for breaking these terms.
Your account
- One workspace per account. Each account comes with one workspace. You can group your social profiles by brand inside it and invite team members up to your plan's limit.
- Roles. Each team member has a role: admin, member or viewer. You decide who joins your workspace, which posts need approval, and who gets a client invite link or a shared calendar link.
- Security. Keep your password secret and turn on two-factor authentication. Treat API keys, personal access tokens, webhook secrets and MCP connections the same way. Anything done with your credentials, or by an AI assistant you connect, counts as done by you.
- Shared links. Anyone who has a shared calendar link or a client invite link can use it until it expires. Send links only to the people who need them, and add a password to client invite links when you can.
- Accurate details. Keep your account details current, especially your email address, because that is where we send important notices.
If you think someone has used your account without permission, tell us right away at hello@postocial.com.
The service
Postocial helps you plan, schedule and publish posts to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn (profiles and pages), YouTube, X (with your own X API key), Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon, Reddit, Tumblr and Telegram. Depending on the network, you can also answer comments and messages in a unified inbox, see analytics, build link-in-bio pages, get help from AI and connect your own tools through the API.
Postocial also connects messaging channels: a WhatsApp Business number, a Telegram bot, a live-chat widget for your website, and SMS through Twilio, Plivo or your own SMS gateway. With them you can build chatbots and automations, send broadcasts, keep contacts with tags and a sales pipeline, take bookings and send payment links. Some of these features work only through providers you connect with your own account, such as Meta for WhatsApp, your SMS provider, your calendar or your payment provider.
- Plans. Plans differ by their limits, such as social accounts, team members, storage, AI credits, contacts and the automations you can switch on per channel. Messaging (the unified inbox, chatbots and automations, broadcasts, contacts and the messaging channels) and link in bio come only with Premium and higher plans. Current plans and limits are on our pricing page.
- Web app. Postocial runs in your browser and can be installed as a web app. There are no native mobile apps.
- Changes. We improve Postocial over time, so we may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that matters to how you use Postocial, we'll tell you in advance when we reasonably can.
- Availability. We work to keep Postocial running, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance, problems at our service providers, and outages or changes at social networks and messaging providers can delay or stop publishing, messages and automations. A network can also reject a post or a message, for example because of its format, size or content.
- Your copies. Keep your own copies of important content, and check that important posts went out.
- Support. We provide support by email at hello@postocial.com.
Trial, billing and renewal
Free trial
Every plan starts with a free trial. A card is required to start the 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, we charge your card for the plan you picked, unless you cancel before. To avoid the charge, cancel from the Billing page before the trial ends. We may limit free trials to one per customer and decline a trial when we suspect abuse.
Prices and billing periods
Prices are in euros (EUR) and listed on our pricing page. You can pay monthly or yearly. A yearly plan costs ten times the monthly price, so you get two months free. Prices exclude VAT. Where we have to collect VAT, sales tax or a similar tax, we add it at checkout so you see it before you pay.
Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, for the same period, until you cancel. At each renewal we charge the payment method on file the price of your plan at that time. When you start a subscription, you authorize these recurring charges.
Plan changes
You can move to another plan from the Billing page. Plan changes are prorated for the rest of your billing period.
Price changes
We may change our prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and it applies from your next renewal. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may try again and ask you to update your payment method. If we still can't collect it, we may suspend your workspace until the amount is paid, and scheduled posts may not publish in the meantime.
Payment processing
Stripe processes payments for us. We don't receive or store your full card number.
Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel anytime from the Billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and we won't charge you again after that.
- We don't give refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires them. Canceling stops future renewals. It doesn't refund the current period.
- If you think we charged you by mistake, email us at hello@postocial.com and we'll look into it.
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy has the details, including what happens to your data after you cancel.
Your content
"Your content" means everything you, your team and your clients put into Postocial or create with it: posts, drafts, captions, images, videos, comments, messages, bio pages, templates and other material, including content you create with AI features or import from other services.
You keep ownership
You keep all rights in your content. You give us, and the service providers who help us run Postocial, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, copy, process, adapt, transmit and display your content, but only as needed to provide, secure and support the service for you. That includes publishing your content to the networks and channels you choose and changing its format to fit them, for example resizing an image. This permission ends when your content is deleted from the service, except for copies we must keep by law and copies in backups until they expire.
Your responsibilities
- You're responsible for your content and for everything published or sent from your workspace, including posts your teammates or clients approve.
- You confirm that you have the rights and permissions your content needs: for music, images, video, trademarks, the people who appear in it and any personal data it contains.
- Posts go out as you set them up. Check them before they're published, including posts created with bulk uploads, RSS campaigns, templates, recurring posts or AI.
- You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no illegal or harmful content, no spam or fake engagement, no messages to people who haven't agreed to hear from you, and no attempts to break or overload the service.
Your audience's data
When you use the inbox, connect a messaging channel (a WhatsApp Business number, a Telegram bot, SMS or the website live-chat widget), keep contacts or publish bio pages, short links, QR codes and forms, you handle personal data about other people. That includes the contacts and conversations you store or import, the broadcasts and automated messages you send, bookings, form answers, and the store orders and payment status you sync from your own accounts. For that data, you're the controller and we process it for you under our Data Processing Addendum. You must:
- give these people the information the law requires;
- get the consent you need, for example before you send marketing messages on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram or SMS, or add tracking pixels to a bio page;
- add or import only contacts who agreed to hear from you;
- honor opt-outs and requests to stop right away;
- never ask people for full payment card numbers, bank account numbers or government ID numbers in a chat.
Meta (for WhatsApp), your SMS provider (such as Twilio or Plivo), the AI provider you connect and your payment provider may charge you directly, including for the messages you send.
Automated messages
Automations, broadcasts and AI replies send messages in your name, exactly as you set them up. You're responsible for what they send, for checking them before you publish or send them, and for telling people they're talking to an automated assistant where the law requires it.
Third-party platforms
Postocial connects to social networks and other services through their APIs. These services are run by other companies, not by us. Their terms and policies apply to everything you do on them, including through Postocial, and you agree to follow them.
- Networks can change, limit or withdraw their APIs, features and rules at any time, and can suspend apps or accounts. When that happens, some Postocial features may change, stop working for a while or stop altogether. We can't guarantee that any network stays compatible.
- Your social accounts belong to you. When you disconnect an account in Postocial, we stop publishing to it. You can also remove access in the network's own settings, as our Privacy Policy explains.
- We aren't responsible for third-party services, their availability or how they handle your data.
YouTube and Google
Postocial uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel or using any YouTube feature in Postocial, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy explains how Google handles data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the data we receive from Google and how you can revoke our access.
Meta: Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp
If you connect Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads or a WhatsApp Business number, you must follow Meta's terms and policies, including the Meta Platform Terms where they apply to you. Meta may ask you to accept its terms directly.
On WhatsApp, you must also follow the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and, if you sell goods or services in chats, the Meta Commerce Policy. Meta bills WhatsApp messages to your WhatsApp Business account.
If you connect a LinkedIn profile or page, you must follow LinkedIn's User Agreement and Professional Community Policies. Connect and publish to a LinkedIn page only if you're authorized to post for it.
TikTok
By publishing to TikTok through Postocial, you agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation. When you mark a post as branded content, you also agree to TikTok's Branded Content Policy. Disclose commercial content the way TikTok requires, and publish only original content you have the rights to.
X
X works in Postocial only with your own X API key. You create an app in the X developer portal and enter its keys in Postocial, which makes you the developer of that app. You accept X's Developer Agreement and Developer Policy, and you pay X directly for the API usage your posts need. X requires prepaid credits: at the time of writing, about USD 5 covers around 500 posts, but X sets these prices and can change them. Posts to X can fail when your credits run out. Postocial doesn't offer analytics for X. Our guide to connecting X walks through the setup.
Terms of each network
These are the main terms and policies of each network and messaging service you can connect. Each company can update its own documents at any time.
Other services you connect
- Media: Dropbox, Google Drive, Unsplash, Giphy and Adobe Express. Photos from Unsplash and GIFs from Giphy come with their own license terms, so check them before you publish.
- Messaging: WhatsApp through Meta, Telegram bots, and SMS through Twilio, Plivo or your own SMS gateway.
- Payments in chat: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Paystack, MyFatoorah or Mercado Pago, on your own account.
- Stores: Shopify or WooCommerce.
- CRM, email and productivity: HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets and Slack.
- Meetings: Google Calendar and Zoom.
- AI providers with your own key: OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or DeepSeek.
- Workflow tools: Zapier, and tools you point at our REST API or webhooks yourself, such as n8n.
- AI assistants through MCP: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other clients you connect.
Your agreement with each of these providers applies when you use it, and a provider that charges for its service bills you directly.
AI features
- The AI writing assistant, AI image generation, AI reply suggestions in the inbox and AI Reply steps in automations create content from your instructions. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to content others have, or wrong for your audience. Review and edit AI writing and reply suggestions before you publish or send them.
- AI replies in automations are sent to your contacts without a person reviewing each one. Set them up carefully, give them accurate knowledge, keep a way to reach a person, and use the AI replies switch in Conversation rules to stop them at once.
- Your plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits and AI images for the writing assistant and AI image generation. If you use it up, features that use credits may stop working until your allowance renews or, on Starter or Premium, you move to a plan with a larger allowance.
- AI reply suggestions, AI Reply steps and AI Knowledge run on an AI provider key your workspace connects: OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or DeepSeek (AI Knowledge needs OpenAI or Gemini). The requests made with that key go to that provider, and its terms and fees apply.
- Don't use AI features to create content that breaks the law, our Acceptable Use Policy or a network's rules, and label AI-generated content where a network or the law requires it.
- We don't claim ownership of the output you generate.
API, MCP and webhooks
- API keys. API keys belong to your workspace, act with the rights of the admin who created them and carry only the permissions you give them. A key stops working if that admin leaves the workspace or stops being an admin. Each key can make up to 60 requests per minute.
- MCP. When you connect an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code to the Postocial MCP server, the assistant acts as you and can do what your role allows, such as drafting, scheduling, publishing and deleting posts, reading analytics and, on Premium and higher plans, working with your contacts and conversations. With sign-in, it works in the workspace you choose; a personal access token can reach every workspace you belong to. You're responsible for what it does, so check its work, and remove the connection and delete any token when you no longer use them.
- Webhooks. Webhooks are signed. Check the signature before you act on one.
- Fair use. Don't resell or share API or MCP access, try to get around rate limits, or use the service to build a competing product.
- Changes. We may change the API. When a change could break your integration, we'll try to tell you in advance.
See API and MCP for what you can build.
Privacy and data protection
- Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data about you and your team.
- When we process personal data for you, such as your inbox contacts, messaging contacts and bio-page visitors, our Data Processing Addendum applies. For business customers, it forms part of these terms.
- Our Sub-processors page lists the companies that help us run Postocial.
- To fix a problem you report or to protect the service, our support team can access your workspace. Staff of our platform provider may also access it [conditions to be confirmed with the platform provider]. We limit this access to what the task needs.
Suspension and termination
If you want to leave
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page, and you can delete your account in the app. Deleting your account deletes your workspace and its content, as our Privacy Policy describes. It doesn't refund the current billing period.
If we need to act
We may suspend or limit your access, or close your account, if:
- you break these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
- a payment stays unpaid after we've asked you to pay it;
- your use puts the service, other customers, a network or our service providers at risk;
- a network or one of our providers requires us to; or
- the law requires us to.
When it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. For serious or urgent issues, we may act right away. If we close your account because you broke these terms, we don't refund fees. We may also stop offering Postocial altogether. If we do, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance.
What happens next
When your account closes or your last paid period ends, your access ends and scheduled posts no longer publish. Copy anything you want to keep before then; the API can help you retrieve posts and media. We then delete or anonymize your data as our Privacy Policy describes. Parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as those about payment, copies in backups, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.
Intellectual property
- Postocial, including its software, design, brand and documentation, belongs to us or our licensors. Your content and third-party services aren't part of this.
- During your trial and subscription, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms.
- Don't copy, modify, sell, rent or reverse engineer the service, or remove our notices, except where the law allows it.
- If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.
Disclaimers and liability
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". Apart from the commitments in these terms, we make no warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every post will be accepted and published by a network, or that analytics supplied by networks are complete or accurate. The free tools on postocial.com are provided as is, too.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- Neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, even if told they were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims about the service or these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, or USD 100.
- These limits don't apply to liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. They also don't limit your obligation to pay your fees.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us, our staff and our service providers against third-party claims, and the losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that come from them, to the extent they arise from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, your breach of a network's terms, or messages you send without the consent the law requires. We'll tell you promptly about a claim and let you control the defense, and we may take part with our own lawyers at our own cost. If you're a consumer, this section applies only as far as the law allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Postocial or the law changes. For material changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Other changes take effect when we publish them here. The dates at the top of this page show the current version. If you don't agree with a change, cancel before it takes effect. If you keep using Postocial after that, the updated terms apply to you. Changes never apply to events that happened before they took effect.
Governing law and disputes
- These terms, and any dispute about them or the service, are governed by French law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
- The courts of Paris, France have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the next point.
- If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can also bring a claim in the courts there.
- Before you start formal proceedings, please email us at hello@postocial.com so we can try to resolve the issue together.
- The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods doesn't apply.
General
- Entire agreement. These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If we sign a separate agreement with you, it prevails where the two conflict. For data protection, the Data Processing Addendum prevails over these terms.
- Transfer. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to an affiliate or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and we'll tell you if we do.
- Events beyond control. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as network or provider outages, internet failures, natural disasters or acts of government. This doesn't excuse payment obligations.
- Severability and waiver. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right immediately, we don't give it up.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account or show them in the app. You can send notices to hello@postocial.com or by mail to Kokoriko SAS, 6 rue d'Armaille, 75017 Paris, France.
- Language. If we translate these terms and a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails, where the law allows.
- Sanctions and export. You must follow the export control and sanctions laws that apply to your use of the service.
