Broadcasts go to contacts who opted in and skip anyone who opted out, and on Messenger and Instagram they reach only people who messaged you in the last 24 hours. Pricing
Hootsuite pricing vs Postocial pricing
Postocial lists its prices in euros and Hootsuite in US dollars. Check how each tool counts users, channels or brands before you compare totals.
-
Hootsuite pricing
Hootsuite publishes USD prices for annual billing only: Standard from $99 per user a month, Professional $199 and Advanced $399, with Enterprise quoted. Monthly billing exists at a higher per-user rate that Hootsuite does not publish in USD. Standard includes 10 social accounts, unlimited scheduled posts and 100 Wisdom AI credits a month. Hootsuite has no free plan; Standard, Professional and Advanced have a 14-day trial with no card, limited to 10 to 20 posts per organization a day and no bulk scheduling.
-
Postocial pricing
Postocial has four plans, each with analytics, approvals, the API and unlimited scheduled posts within each network's own rate limits. Yearly billing costs 10 times the monthly price, so two months are free, and plan changes are prorated.
- Starter: €19.99 a month or €199.90 a year, with 5 social accounts and 2 team members
- Premium: €29.99 a month or €299.90 a year, with 10 social accounts, 5 team members, the inbox with chatbots and link in bio
- Agency: €99 a month or €990 a year, with 100 social accounts, 10 team members, the inbox with chatbots and link in bio
- Unlimited: €199 a month or €1,990 a year, with unlimited social accounts, 10 team members, the inbox with chatbots and link in bio

Switching
Switching from Hootsuite: a five-step checklist
Most of the work is reconnecting accounts and rebuilding your schedule. Run both tools side by side for a week if you want a safety net.
-
Connect your accounts
Start the 7-day trial and connect the profiles you run in Hootsuite. If a client owns a profile, send them a client invite link so they can connect it without sharing a password.
-
Rebuild your posting times
Set your workspace's weekly time slots once, by weekday, to match your Hootsuite schedule. "Add to queue" then drops each new post into the next free slot, and you can still pick an exact time for any post.
-
Move your upcoming posts
Put your scheduled posts in a CSV file and create them in one bulk upload, or rebuild them in the composer with a version for each network.
-
Set up approvals and roles
Decide which posts need approval, give each person an admin, member or viewer role and turn on two-factor authentication. Clients can approve or reject posts from a shared calendar link.
-
Bring in your team
Invite teammates as admins, members or viewers and turn on approvals where you need them.

Can Postocial replace Hootsuite?
It depends on which parts of Hootsuite you use. Postocial covers scheduling, analytics and approvals, and Premium and higher plans add the unified inbox and link in bio. It does not offer social listening, ads management or employee advocacy, so teams that rely on those would need another tool for them.
How much does Hootsuite cost per month?
Hootsuite shows USD prices with annual billing: Standard from $99 per user a month. It says monthly billing costs more per user but does not publish that USD figure. Postocial plans cost €19.99, €29.99, €99 or €199 a month on monthly billing, or 10 times that for a year.
How does the Postocial free trial compare with Hootsuite's?
Hootsuite has no free plan; Standard, Professional and Advanced have a 14-day trial with no card, limited to 10 to 20 posts per organization a day and no bulk scheduling. Postocial has no free plan; every plan starts with a free trial instead. A card is required to start the 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, we charge your card for the plan you picked, unless you cancel before.
How does posting to X work in Hootsuite and Postocial?
Hootsuite lists X among its networks. In Postocial, X works with your own X API key: you pre-fund X developer credits, about $5 per 500 posts, and Postocial has no analytics for X.
