  • X, with your own X API key

Composer

One post, a version for every network

Start with one post and pick the accounts it goes to. Then open each network's version and change the text or the media, so a long LinkedIn update and a short Bluesky post can come from the same idea.

  • Separate text and media for each network in the same post
  • Drafts you can come back to later
  • Duplicate a post to reuse it for a new date or campaign
  • Templates, custom variables and hashtag groups in the editor
  • X280-character post
  • Bluesky300-character post
  • Threads500-character post
  • Instagram2,200-character caption
  • LinkedIn3,000-character post
  • YouTube5,000-character video description

Why versions matter

How much room each network gives you

These limits are why one copy rarely fits everywhere. Check a draft against them with the free character counter.

Planning at scale

Plan in batches, not one post at a time

These tools take the repetition out of a content calendar, whether you post for one brand or twenty.

  • Bulk upload from CSV

Prepare a batch of posts in a spreadsheet and upload the CSV file to create them all at once.

    Bulk posts guide
  • Repeat posts

Set a post to repeat for evergreen reminders, such as opening hours, a weekly tip or a standing offer.

  • RSS campaigns

Connect an RSS feed from your blog, newsletter or podcast, and Postocial creates posts from new items.

  • Templates

Save the formats you use every week, like a product spotlight or an event reminder, and start new posts from them.

  • Custom variables

Store details you repeat, such as a booking link or a sign-off, as variables and drop them into any post.

  • Hashtag groups

Keep a set of hashtags for each topic or client and add the whole group to a post at once.

  • Tags and filters

Label posts by campaign, client or content type, then filter the calendar to see only those.

  • Calendar and posts list

See the month at a glance on the calendar, or switch to the posts list to scan everything in order.

How it works

From idea to published post

  1. Connect your accounts

Connect the profiles, pages and channels you post to. X needs your own X API key.

  2. Write and tailor

Draft the post once, then adjust each network's version and add media from the library.

  3. Schedule or queue

Pick a date and time, or add the post to the queue to take the next free slot.

  4. Publish on time

Postocial publishes at the scheduled time. Check results in analytics, and answer replies in the inbox on Premium and higher plans.

FAQ

Scheduling questions

Can I post different text to each network?

Yes. Every post has a separate version for each network you choose, with its own text and media. Write the main version once, then shorten, expand or swap the media where a network needs it.

How does the posting queue work?

Set your workspace's weekly posting times once, by weekday. When a post is ready, choose Add to queue and Postocial puts it in the next free slot. You can still pick an exact date and time for any post.

Can I schedule posts in bulk?

Yes. Upload a CSV file to create many posts at once. The bulk posts and RSS guide explains how to set up the file.

Can a post repeat automatically?

Yes. Set a post to repeat and it goes out again on the schedule you choose. It suits reminders and evergreen posts that stay true.

Can Postocial post from my blog automatically?

Yes. Create an RSS campaign with your feed, and Postocial creates posts from new items in it.

Is there a limit on scheduled posts?

No. Every plan includes unlimited scheduled posts, within each network's own rate limits. Plans differ in social accounts, team members, storage and AI allowances. Messaging and link in bio are on Premium and higher plans.

Which Facebook and Instagram accounts can I use?

Postocial publishes to Facebook Pages. On Instagram, it works with business and creator accounts, connected through Facebook or with a direct Instagram login.

Can I schedule posts to X?

Yes, with your own X API key. You pre-fund X developer credits with X, about $5 per 500 posts, and Postocial does not show analytics for X. See how to connect X.
