What the styler actually changes
Type โPlan your weekโ and you get the same words spelled with different characters. ๐ is not a heavier P: it is a separate Unicode character, created for math notation and now borrowed for decoration. Posts, bios and names are stored as plain text, so the characters you paste are exactly what your followers receive.
Strikethrough and underline are the exceptions. They keep your text and attach a combining mark after every character except spaces, so the readerโs font decides how cleanly the line joins up.
Numbers change in some styles only: compare ๐๐/๐ in Bold (serif) with 24/7 in Italic (serif) in the style guide below. Most styles copy commas, question marks and emoji exactly as you typed them; Fullwidth also widens punctuation, and the two line styles draw their line through it.

Network-by-network guides
Bios, display names, posts, captions and comments accept styled letters on most networks. Usernames and handles are a different matter: keep them plain. Each network has its own limits and habits, so these pages go into detail:
- Instagram font generator: a styled line in a 150-character bio, your name and captions.
- Facebook font generator: headings and labels that help people scan long posts and comments.
- TikTok font generator: one styled word in an 80-character bio, display names and captions.
- LinkedIn font generator: bold headlines and labels for posts, with plain keywords in your profile.
- YouTube font generator: headings in descriptions, where styled letters cost extra bytes.
- X font generator: bold lead-ins for posts and threads, a 160-character bio and your name.
- Threads font generator: a bold opening line in posts and a styled label in a 150-character bio.
- Pinterest font generator: styled extras in a 500-character bio and Pin descriptions, never in titles.
- Bluesky font generator: styled words in posts, a 256-character bio and a 64-character display name.
- Tumblr font generator: fraktur and script headings for posts, with tags left plain for search.
Before you style a whole bio
- Assistive technology: a screen reader may skip the symbols or announce each one by its Unicode name, which turns a styled sentence into noise.
- Search: people type plain letters, and search usually treats ๐๐๐ฅ๐ and Sale as different words, so leave hashtags, product names and the keywords people search for unstyled.
- Missing glyphs: an older phone may draw squares where the styled letters should be.
- Length: a styled letter is often stored as two code units, so some networks count it twice.
A simple rule: style the label, not the message. Links, contact details and the reason to follow you stay in normal letters.
