Switching
Switching from SocialPilot: a five-step checklist
Most of the work is reconnecting accounts and rebuilding your schedule. Run both tools side by side for a week if you want a safety net.
-
Connect your accounts
Start the 7-day trial and connect the profiles you run in SocialPilot. If a client owns a profile, send them a client invite link so they can connect it without sharing a password.
-
Rebuild your posting times
Set your workspace's weekly time slots once, by weekday, to match your SocialPilot schedule. "Add to queue" then drops each new post into the next free slot, and you can still pick an exact time for any post.
-
Move your upcoming posts
Put your scheduled posts in a CSV file and create them in one bulk upload, or rebuild them in the composer with a version for each network.
-
Bulk-load client calendars
Prepare a CSV file of upcoming posts for each client and create them in one bulk upload, on any plan.
-
Bring in your team
Invite teammates as admins, members or viewers and turn on approvals where you need them.
FAQ
Postocial vs SocialPilot: questions and answers
Something we missed, or a detail that changed? Write to hello@postocial.com.
Does Postocial have client approvals like SocialPilot?
Yes, on every plan. Posts can require approval, and clients approve or reject them from a shared calendar link that expires on the date you set. In SocialPilot, approvals start on Standard and client approvals on Premium.
Does Postocial offer white-label reports?
No. White-label reports are not among Postocial's analytics features. SocialPilot includes white-label reports, so if branded client reports are essential to you, it has the edge there.
How does the Postocial free trial compare with SocialPilot's?
SocialPilot has no free plan and offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card. Postocial has no free plan; every plan starts with a free trial instead. A card is required to start the 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, we charge your card for the plan you picked, unless you cancel before.
How does posting to X work in SocialPilot and Postocial?
