Start with the workspace dashboard

The dashboard brings your accounts together: followers and follower growth, the posts you published, your best and weakest accounts, and a leaderboard. Check it weekly rather than daily. One day says little; a few weeks show a trend.

Turn analytics into a posting schedule

  1. Open best times to post. Pick an account and open its best-times heatmap. Best times cover Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn (pages only), YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Mastodon.
  2. Pick your strongest hours. Choose the three to five weekday-and-hour cells that stand out.
  3. Make them your time slots. Add those hours to your workspace's weekly posting schedule.
  4. Queue your posts. Use "Add to queue" so new posts land in those slots.
  5. Review after a month. Compare results and move the slots that didn't deliver.

Set up a posting schedule

A weekly review in four questions

  1. Are we growing? Note follower growth on the dashboard.
  2. What worked? Open top posts and write down what the best ones share: format, topic, length or time.
  3. What lagged? Look at your weakest account. Is it posting less, or posting things its audience doesn't want?
  4. What will we test? Plan one change for next week, such as an extra video, a new time slot or a different opening line.

What analytics doesn't cover

  • X, Reddit, Tumblr and Telegram: Postocial has no analytics for these networks. You can still schedule and publish posts to them.
  • Best times on every network: best times to post cover Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn (pages only), YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Mastodon. Accounts on Google Business Profile get analytics but no best times, and LinkedIn gets them for pages only.
  • Every metric on every network: each network shares its own set of numbers, so some metrics exist only on some networks.
